As musical events go, Lady GaGa‘s ‘ARTPOP’ is easily the year’s most anticipated. Indeed, fans and critics alike await the ‘Applause’ led set with ample excitement – much of which is due to the secrecy the project has been clothed with.
Yet, with the release of the LP drawing nearer, Mother Monster has begun to share more morsels of information about the project – namely the its first feature artist.
Having promised that ‘ART’ will boast contributions from a cast of great musicians, the name of one awaits after the jump…
Speaking with Sway Calloway on the red carpet at tonight’s 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, the 27-year-old revealed legendary rapper Too Short as a collaborator on the LP.
A West Coast Hip-Hop pioneer, the 47-year-old is also known to today’s wave of music listeners thanks to his guest spot on Kelis‘ 2006 hit ‘Bossy’.
Needless to say, a random yet intriguing pairing. ‘ARTPOP’ hits stores on November 11th.
