With releases by Lady GaGa and Katy Perry sure to see sales on the outlet rise, iTunes continues to dominate many a world with the launch of iTunes Radio next month, marking the latest exciting venture birthed by Steve Jobs’ ‘Apple’.
Good news below!
Billed as the company’s answer to Joe Kennedy‘s ‘Pandora’, iTunes Radio will stand as a free ad backed service to the public, but does not allow users to search and play songs on-demand.
However, its software will allow listeners to purchase songs and have them sent directly to their devices as each song is spun, also boasting an ad-free option to users who pay to use iTunes Match, a system which allows to users to access their iTunes libraries through any Apple device connected to the internet!
The best part about it?
The aforementioned ‘push to buy’ option, sure to boost sales of all music by simplifying the purchasing process, and removing the passivity that oft comes with simply hearing a cut on the radio and doing absolutely nothing with it once its stopped playing.
What we’re playing right now?
