They came, they saw, and they certainly conquered.
Just ask any fan in attendance at this past weekend’s ‘Rock In Rio’ and they would tell you with certainty that two of R&B’s finest – Justin Timberlake and Alicia Keys – came armed with an arsenal of their biggest hits and, to fan delight, rocked the Brazilian city with two amazing sets.
Joining the like of their ‘Until the End of Time’ and ‘Put It In A Love Song’ co-star Beyonce (whose set can be seen here), Timberlake and Keys offered over 60 minutes of non-stop, energetic entertainment respectively and lent reworked versions of their signature hits.

Alicia Off-Keys is so talented, I just wish she sang more in Key.
She has worked with one of my favorite artists (Emeli Sande) but this Girl on Fire mess is not it. I hope she comes harder next album.

I agree. LOL these comments about them are hilarious to me because it reminds me of stories about people like Billie Holiday or really old hollywood. Those that paved the way for singers with a unique style and voice got criticized really bad because no understood where they were coming from. Billie use to get criticized all the time due to her raspy tone just like Alicia. They would go Billie you can’t sing your voice is too raspy you off key LOL., but due to her conveying raw emotion and depth made her one of the greatest jazz/blues singers in history. Marvin Gaye was different to he had a high pitch voice but once he touch that stage Mother mother the crowd went wild. I can’t see these to are overrated their fame was well earned and they are both extremely talented. They have their own style and sound when it comes to singing. Alicia more jazzy soulful velvety and JT more pop/soulful.They will be remembered for a longtime time.

Alicia´s catalogue is really amazing at this point. Many real quality hits from different albums and written by her. Amazing. And that not being a pop artist is a true achievement.
I agree she’s extremely talented,and she did it all with class too without gyrating or being half naked in a music video. She let her music speak for itself you got to respect that.

I was there. It was really an speacial energy. Alicia’s show was amazing and i’ve sang every word, but the crowd was not feeling her because her show was too slow for that night. Too many ballads and midtempos.
Justin was the one who brought the house down.
Another curious fact: “Girl on Fire” is a huge hit here on Brazil. People went crazy when she sang that one.
