Patti Labelle has been named as one of the performers scheduled to rock this year's 'Black Girls Rock' event this year, called on to celebrate positive women of colour and their contributions they make to their worlds and the people in them.

Joining Kelly Rowland, Jennifer Hudson, Janelle Monae, Ledisi and Alice Smith as performers at this year's show, Labelle's performance will hit screens via BET on Sunday November 3rd at 7pm ET/PT, one year after 'DUI' singer Ciara rocked the show with a tribute to 'Remember the Time' icon Michael Jackson.
Presenters as this year's show include 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air' star Tatyana Ali and Nia Long, while Regina King and Tracee Ellis Ross will serve as hosts for the empowering event.
