Rihanna Faces Caribbean ‘DanceHall Queen’ Impersonation Claims Following ‘Pour It Up’ Video

With a Platinum plaque to its name, it’s fair to say the US had fallen head over heels with Rihanna‘s ‘Pour It Up‘ well before the release of its music video, now available to enjoy here!

Alas, despite scoring many a thumbs up from many of her fans, the last few days have seen the chart topper labelled a ‘copy cat’, after some critics accused her of unfairly ‘pulling’ from Caribbean DanceHall queens to craft a video her fans have hailed ‘original’.

Indeed, much to the dismay of her fans, she has been accused of stealing ideas from Carlene, Patra and the widely known Lady Saw, Chaka Demus & Pliers to create the style employed in the music video.
