R&B belter Tamar Braxton is wasting no time building on her buzz.
2013 has seen the singer expand her empire both professionally and personally – bringing with it ample success with sophomore album ‘Love And War’, as well as the birth of first child Logan Vincent Herbert.
Currently on tour with John Legend, the diva is gearing up for the release of Holiday album ‘Winter Loverland’ next month.
And despite her “busy”, Braxton is also looking beyond the festive season – recently confirming that a re-release of ‘Love And War’ is in the works for next year.
Details after the jump…
The revelation came during an interview with German outlet Malcolm Music. Peep the clip below, which also sees the reality star confirm that full versions of teaser cuts ‘She Did That’ and ‘One On One Fun’ will feature on the re-packaging…
She, Me, Her also divulged plans for the video for fan favourite ‘All The Way Home’:
**********
We’re loving Tamar’s aggressive approach to promo. Working hard and staying in folk’s faces – if only more R&B girls would do the same.
Should she continue along this path with the push for the re-release, she’ll be on course to add more sold units to ‘Love And War’s overall tally.
Needless to say, exciting times to be a Tamartian!

she is overrated, it will flop for sure
Tamar I Luv u….but ur team too much is getting on my nerves
cant wait for the Xmas album! all the way home is my fav off the album…Tamar singing her face off…yeah babe!
Only if she could sing her face off LIVE!
Beyonce needs to re-real else her album “4” sinceit flopped like a fish out of water smh
This post is about TAMAR not BEYONCE
FAIL!!!
I loved Love And War, its one of those albums that when you listen to, you can’t skip any song because all the songs are just that damn good, I love every song on Love And War.
The same can’t be said about Basic Prism, I only like 3 of the 16 songs, that album will be the flop of the year tbh
This post has nothing to do with Katy yet you’re still pressed about Prism. And you have the nerve to call anyone else a troll when you’re probably the biggest one who hasn’t been banned yet.
*waits for one of your tired ass typical replies*
Y r u defending prism when ur always the one calling Katy generic and wack?? Not to mention u supposedly don’t like gaga or Katy but there have been several trolls on Gaga’s post talking about Katy, yet u dont say anything.
Why though??
Take a break sis
Is anyone really here for this?
Was anyone really here for Lizzy Grant? is that why she had to change her name and imagine to get noticed lol.
And it still sold more than Tamar’s first album. Kii.
Hah! Looks like you took time out to comment. So YES you are here for Tamar Braxton
It’s getting too much sis
I will always have the best selling re-release of all time.
LOL byeeee.
No no !
Happy birthday Ciara!
Best dancer ever, love ya!
More Tamar music? Yes!
Sorry but her uptempo songs are whack!!!! “She Did That” is the only uptempo I can deal with on L&W. If she removed Hot Sugar and One On One Fun, the album would be perfect! She’s so pressed to become a popstar and she doesn’t realize that the R&B that she loathes so much is where she shines the most!
I agree.
True. On “Love & War” I only like the songs that sound like Toni tbh.
@LUCIA You’re absolutely right. Songs like tip toe I see a 20 something singing about. Tamar need to stay in her age group. Not saying she can’t make pop or sexual songs but more mature/30s point of view and continue to make it relatable
Hot sugar is a mess.
The video and errthang girl!!
I’m ready to see her do some mature uptempos like the people in her age group. You know, like a Janet “All For You”/”Feedback” because I’m not interested in “She Did That” or “Hot Sugar” on a 36 year old. “Hot Sugar” was a great song though. I just think Tamar needs to accept where her career and age are at this point. She needs to stand behind that mic and SANG and if she’s going to dance, do a little something. Leave the rigorous routines for the young/pop chicks unless she’s going to really bring it. Or call in Laurie Ann Gibson (totally pissed she and Gaga aren’t together anymore, she’d slay that “Do What U Want” video, I’m sick of ‘Born This Way’/’The Fame Monster’ paws up choreography)because from what I’ve seen, Tamar isn’t meant to be in the performer lane with Beyonce or Pink.
Katy Perry doesn’t move much in choreography but is still a pop star. Take notes Tamar.
You’re right, but Katy burst into the scene at the age of 23 and she’s what…29 now? Tamar is 36 and someone’s mama, not to mention the fact that she doesn’t have a pop voice. She needs to let her pop dreams go…lol
Well Tamar came on to the scene back when she was a t*** and now she’s getting the shine deserved. She’s only a few years older than Katy. She needs to take note from K. Michelle, less is more on stage at your age in in your genre.
THE STRUGGLE TO GO GOLD IS REAL LOL
I agree about the part of other R&B girls taking a more aggressive approach. Unless you’re a worldwide established name like Alicia Keys or Beyonce you need to be promoting. I’m just thinking of how much more Rebellious Soul would be selling if K. Michelle had a team like that. She’s not lazy, she just embarked on a tour. But she needs to do more T.V performances, appearances, and magazines. Tamar is proving that quality R&B packaged right can sell. Hopefully label heads take note
Re-release the same album just to add both sales together just to say her album went gold or plat.
You just can’t satify everybody as a artist.People
are saying that Tarmar is doing to much promoting,
and Kelly is not doing enough promoting.
But Tamar and TLC are artist from the 90’s
who are doing well with their comebacks.
Showing the new generation of singers that
you don’t have to take off your clothes
to be successful.
I I see Sam is finally cleaning out his site. Now I’ll be ab
le to participate in Beyonce posts
I usually don’t because they are often filled with too much offensive comments
But great thing you are doing Sam
Now ima need you to sort the e-mail and usernames that appear on my comments box from time to time
I like her music and she still a muppet!
I love the album but there is no need for those songs to be heard in full, they are actually the ones i removed
Re-releases are so out. Just give us an EP
The album would have been PERFECT without those one on on tip toe mess. I like the soul/R&B songs on it, Tamar’s vocals on the album are amazing.
On the re-release, stay in the lane you shine the most Tamar, the big vocal songs.
I’m sorry, I just don’t see it selling much more. I know rereleases are used to boost sales but I think the Tamar hype is coming to an end for big numbers. She’ll probably do K.Michelle or Ciara Basic Instinct numbers…
