JLS’ Aston Merrygold Records Farewell Video For Fans / Teases ‘Individual Journey’

Published: Monday 23rd Dec 2013 by David

Hours before the group bid adieu to Pop, JLS Aston Merrygold surprised fans with a video message recorded for the group’s fan base, thanking them for their undying support.

While doing so, the ‘Love You More’ performer went a long to stress the important of that support now that each member embarked on an individual journeys, with his set to see him follow in the footsteps of Justin Timberlake and Beyonce to seek solo stardom after the group’s demise.

His words below…

We can’t wait to see Aston the soloist cooks up!

For, despite their more recent material masking this, all four members of the group are competent vocalists with Aston boasting a range we’d say is yet to be explored in its entirety.

With this mind, we’re hoping the ‘One Shot’ star enlists a management team, label and creatives who will be tasked with repackaging him in the coming year, stripping him of his ‘boy band’ persona and arming with something a little more…credible.

Sure, while taking the EDM route would seem the safest bet for an performer as charismatic as he is, there’s no telling how phenomenal his ‘individual journey’ could be if he’s packaged as an unassuming singer/songwriter who just happens to be given the ‘Pop star push’.

So, that’d mean less of this…

…and a whole lotta this…
