Months before the unleashing of her eighth studio album, Pop trendsetter Rihanna has found herself in the middle of a fresh plagiarism row this week, after the artist Jim Starr accused her of imitating his work on her most recent spread with ‘GQ‘ magazine.

After catching wind of the shot published here, Starr took to Sarah Sands‘ ‘Evening Standard’ to accuse the Pop singer and creative Damien Hurst of imitating his work, without his permission.
He explained:
“I am aware that artists are all sort of drawing from the same well but I think I know when my work has inspired someone else’s.”
Unfortunately for Hirst, Starr now joins a long list of artists to have accused him of intentionally plagiarising their work.
Indeed, as is explained here, the ‘For the Love of God’ creator has oft seen his creations critiqued and seen him labelled a ‘copy cat’, adding weight to Starr’s allegations.
Rihanna is yet to respond.
