Lady GaGa & Christina Aguilera may have wowed the world with their surprise collaboration on ‘The Voice’ last week, but it would seem an R&B duo have plans to give them a run for their money next year.
Yes, for if plans put in place by R.Kelly come to fruition, 2014 will see him launch a US tour with a R&B’s reigning Queen Mary J.Blige in support of his latest album ‘Black Panties.’

On the show, he told WBLS 107.5:
“We’re working on the Black Panties tour right now, but before we get into the “Black Panties Tour,” I’m going on tour with Mary J. We’re doing a King and Queens tour.”

With careers that see them pull a number of stunts and tricks on the ‘fresher’ acts that should be outperforming them, it’s great to see Blige and Kelly remain atop of the game…well after their initial ‘peak.’
More importantly though, we know we can’t be the only ones eagerly awaiting a new Mary album, set to benefit from the hype currently surrounding her Christmas LP and the sonic gem that was ‘My Life II: The Journey Continues‘!
