Consider yourself a fan of Diddy‘s smash-hit TV network ‘Revolt’?
Wait…you’re not?!
Well, consider yourself one of the few yet to enjoy all their diverse programming schedule has to offer viewers, doing so via the channel numbers listed here.
Now, as if the diversity they endorse and exposure they hand to all artists wasn’t enough to push their rising viewing figures, the network has announced the arrival of its very own live music TV show, reportedly shot in the style of MTV‘s ‘Total Request Live.’
Their announcement below…
On the venture, the network revealed:
“At the close of 2013, we promised you an exciting upcoming year for music, as well as for REVOLT, as we head into our first full year on the air. Now, less than a month after the major announcement that The Breakfast Club would be heading to REVOLT come March, we’re ready to announce the premiere of our flagship show, REVOLT Live, kicking off on January 27.
The original, one-hour show, which was announced this morning by REVOLT President and co-founder Andy Schuon during a panel at the Television Critics Association’s winter tour, will air daily at 5 p.m. EST and 8 p.m. EST – meaning two new shows every day – and will combine special guests, artists, and live performances to bring music fans an unprecedented (and unscripted) music television program, the first of its kind.
“REVOLT is about music. With REVOLT LIVE we are setting a new standard for music news and music culture by building a platform for artists to reach audiences in a completely unique way,” said REVOLT Andy Schuon at the panel. Adding to this sentiment, REVOLT CEO Keith Clinkscales explained, “Authentic and energetic, REVOLT Live is perfectly aligned with our vision of delivering the full spectrum of music culture, music, and news.”
Filmed daily at REVOLT’s brand-new, state-of-the-art studio in Hollywood, REVOLT Live will find hosts and on-air personalities DJ Damage and Sibley – and their many guests – tackling talked-about news of the day, breaking stories, and new music releases and style from REVOLT-authorized artists from the fringes of the mainstream, alternative, and underground.
Adding to its innovative approach of functioning as a live program that strives to deliver the unexpected in constantly-evolving ways, REVOLT Live will also maximize fan engagement by drawing viewers to their social media platforms and digital devices as they watch and enjoy REVOLT Live on their televisions.
Tune in to REVOLT on January 27 to catch the kick-off of REVOLT Live, and of course, stay tuned for more major announcements in the coming months. We told you we were breaking ground this year!”
