Plus Sony wouldn’t count smaller markets either; again Sony has no presence in other smaller markets say Kenya, they order their CDs from South Africa which has a SONY presence.

Technically it is not a lie since Sony’s sale is different from retail sale. Sony would count a shipment as a sale, which they did.
