Rihanna Confirms Shakira Duet ‘Can’t Remember To Forget’ / Set To Debut Next Week?

Published: Monday 6th Jan 2014 by Sam

The speculation is over!

After weeks of teasing and titillation, Rihanna has – so it seems – confirmed her presence on Shakira‘s hotly anticipated new single.

Details after the jump…

Moments ago, the Bajan model cryptically retweeted the following message on Twitter:

Little else is known about the interestingly titled track ‘Can’t Remember To Forget’. What is certain, though, is that its roll-out will likely give the Roc Nation divas a mammoth push for their respective solo efforts. Should the cut truly debut next Tuesday (which is oft the most elected day for new US releases), it’ll arrive a few weeks before Shakira’s return to The Voice begins airing in February. What’s more, with Beyonce set to hit the tour trail again next month, Ms. Fenty is no doubt thinking…”coast clear”. On the Singles charts, of course.
