Grammy-winning R&B diva Monica showed up and out at today’s mayoral inauguration for Atlanta’s Kasim Reed, who is serving his second term.

On hand to lend a rendition of ‘God Bless America’, the performance saw the songstress enlist a majestic arrangement to accompany (and show off) her much missed chops.

As if we weren’t already anxiously awaiting her newest project, this showing may have sent our anticipation into overdrive!
