Legendary, Grammy-winning gospel group The Clark Sisters were featured on the Queen Latifah Show this week as surprise performers to help bring in the actress/talk show host’s birthday.
Performing their timeless hit ‘You Brought the Sunshine’, look above as the group, sans Dorinda Clark Cole, almost brought Queen Latifah to tears with their spirited rendition of the tune.

JJ Hairston Readies New Radio Show
As if multiple chart-topping singles and albums to his credit weren’t enough, now gospel superstar JJ Hairston is bringing radio to his already decorated resume.
Hosting “Sunday Praise with J.J. Hairston” on Connecticut’s Hot 93.7 FM (WZMX), the show comes as the Hip Hop/R&B station’s first ever gospel program. Kicking off March 30th, the ‘Sunday Praise’ will air every Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m.
The announcement precedes news of Hairston’s newest single “It Pushed Me” due in the coming weeks.

New Song: Jacky Clark – ‘My Season’
Excuse our excitement for a second while we jam out to the newest single from legendary Clark Sister Jacky Clark.
After sharing her hot teaser last week, the songstress unveils the first full listen of her Tonex (B. Slade)-produced tune ‘My Season’ – the first release from her long-awaited second solo album.
Coming as the follow-up to 2005’s ‘Expectancy’ album, the new project has no release date announced as of time reporting.

Hezekiah Walker Notches 26 Weeks At #1 With ‘Every Praise’
Congratulations are undoubtedly in order for Bishop Hezekiah Walker!
As reports have it, his latest hit “Every Praise” has been atop the Billboard Charts for 26 non-consecutive weeks at #1. Besting his former hit “Souled Out” (which topped charts for 14 weeks in 2009), “Every Praise” can be found aboard his 2013 release “Azusa: The Next Generation”.

BET’s 2014 “Celebration of Gospel” was taped live in Los Angeles on March 21st.
Hosted by Academy Award-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson, the anticipation for the 14th annual airing of the show – set for April 6th – is at a feverish pitch as news spreads about the awesome performances. With the performer list including JJ Hairston, Tye Tribbett, Tamela Mann, Erica Campbell, India.Arie, and so many more, we certainly see why.
