I feel like she gave us this same song and dance during the development of her last two albums. Sad. She needs a stronger set of songs, excellent set of writers and producers, and maybe a running theme/concept for the overall album – something she always failed on delivering.

Unfortunately we are witnessing the beginnings of another flop it appears. Same tired, overcooked, overwrought lingo, “I’m inspired by women, we are women, my sister B, Beyonce started a movement, blah, blah, blah”. When will she talk about something else? Doesn’t she want to reach men too? It’s like Kelly can’t answer the tough questions and just be honest with herself. 15 years after Destiny’s Child kicked out members yet she still can’t even give a straight answer about it. Its apparent that she really wanted to do Year Of The Woman and the label wasnt here for it… that wanted Kelly to take a more sexier approach and deliver in the style of the feature she had been doing…. Kelly has never seemed to find the right mix of Label, Creative Freedom, & Management…
