14 years after teaming up on the rapper’s ‘Bonnie & Clyde ‘O3’, Jay Z and Beyonce now gear up for the launch of their very first joint stadium tour, set for liftoff less than a year after the release of the latter’s ‘Beyonce.’
Today, after learning of its reported North American dates, the general public may be pleased to learn that the pair’s touring ambitions now sit at the ‘global’ mark, with the couple setting their sights on a number European venues they hope will house the stage show!
Details below…
On the tour, MTV UK reports:
“In the UK the gigs could be at stadiums or arenas — the plans are still being worked out. There are ongoing talks about arenas here and it’s likely to be somewhere like Wembley or Twickenham Stadium as demand will be massive.”
This, after the LA Times teased…
“The tour is expected to have a stop at the Rose Bowl, tentatively set for Aug. 3 date. That show would be just days before Eminem and Rihanna’s highly anticipated Monster Tour sets up a two-night stand in Pasadena.
The two then plan on taking the show to Europe, with multiple shows scheduled in Paris this September, a source said.”
Sure to push global sales of the aforementioned ‘Beyonce’, one wouldn’t be too surprised if a fresh Jay Z LP surfaced shortly after the tour wraps, likely to outperform ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ if the ticket-buying public shows him half as much love as they’re set to shower on the tour once confirmed by the couple.
So, until they do…
