Sailing across digital seas this week is Danity Kane‘s comeback cut ‘Lemonade’, pulled from the trio’s hotly anticipated third studio album!
Now, while the ladies may have been guaranteed love in their domestic market upon its release, we doubt they could have anticipated the number would make quite the Urban splash in the United Kingdom today.
How their British fans declared their love for the single?
Good news after the jump…
As it sits at #87 on iTunes USA, iTunes UK‘s R&B chart welcomes it to the #21 spot today, making way for the cut to reside there thanks to their North American ‘No Filter’ tour and its heavy digital backing, which spilled over US borders to impact the European market.
Made even more impressive when one remembers the group’s failure to break the UK during their first run at the top, ‘Lemonade’s charting there comes as it sits at #4 on iTunes USA‘s R&B tally, #15 on iTunes New Zealand R&B, and #21 on iTunes Australia R&B, where John Legend‘s ‘All of Me’ is placed at #1.
