With the return of The X Factor UK nigh, so too is the comeback of British chart-force Cheryl Cole.
The Girls Aloud star’s solo stock took quite the hit once she left the ITV1 series in 2011. However, in smartly realising that her brand could do with a boosting, the singer has inked a lucrative deal to once again judge on the show ahead of the release of new music.
As such, with her promotional scaffolding in place, the 30-year-old has whipped fans into a frenzy by announcing the title of the lead single from her fourth studio album.
Details below…
Speaking to Hello Magazine, Cole confirmed that her new single is titled…
‘Crazy Stupid Love’
Reliable reports reveal that the song will be debuted by way of a live performance at the finale of Britain’s Got Talent next Saturday, June 7th. ‘Crazy’ will then be released to iTunes immediately after.
In other Cole news, she also announced the single’s parent album will arrive in stores in November.
*************
Her voice may leave almost everything to be desired, yet it’s hard to deny the flawless-ness of her album launches. Cole is using a multitude of Simon Cowell platforms to spring back into the spotlight and drop material when she’ll be the talk of the press thanks to the X Factor exposure.
Needless to say, she’s a case, point, example that it’s not how talented one is, but how talented their team are in making the right power plays.
That said, Cheryl needs to ensure she’s bringing heat with more than her first single (her biggest problem) if she’s to be able to maintain success without the crutches of all these shows.
