Armed with a sound set to woo many radio formats, Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Pills N Potions’ pulled up to radio show ‘The Breakfast Club‘ this morning, stopping by to impact the show’s audience and score its first dose of promo on the outlet.
It was there, as the Pop star’s ‘Fancy’ bops past US sales of 1 million units, was Minaj asked to weigh in on Rap sibling Iggy Azalea and the absence of female success stories in Hip Hop’s current climate.
Why Minaj laughed when asked to weigh in on ‘Forbes’ estimation of Iggy’s career?
That, and more after the jump!
When asked to weigh in on Forbes’ claim that Azalea “ran Hip Hop” and that she was “absent”, Minaj laughed and explained:
“Listen, all ‘Forbes’ needs to worry about is my finances and when I’m gonna be selling ‘Myx Fusions’ for $250 million, that’s all they need to worry about. We rely on Hip Hop connoisseurs for that information so we appreciate that…but no thank you.”
