‘Bossip’ had the pleasure of meeting LaTavia Roberson recently, meeting the ‘R&B Divas: Atlanta’ star to dish on her hotly anticipated comeback and her starring role on the Reality TV show.
Of course, as is often the case with Destiny’s former Children, her time with the outlet saw Beyonce thrown into the mix when Roberson was quizzed on claims that the ‘Tell Me’ singers were subject to “shade” thrown at them by their leader.
What she had to say on the matter?

Unfortunately, though it shouldn’t have been, the group’s legacy finds itself a little tarnished by clips like the now viral “Second Lead Singer.”
For, as any who lived through the group’s run can attest to, the impression many now have of the group is wholly inaccurate, with most under the impression that Michelle Williams stood as an awkward third wheel, and Beyonce being a shade-throwing villain ever ready to mock or ridicule her ‘doo-wop’ singing minions.
In fact, unlike any other girl group in recent history, each and every member of the quartet turned trio being just as competent as the other, even if they lacked Carter‘s mic-shattering vocal chops.
Unfortunate, as one wonders how many more solo success stories Mathew Knowles could have penned had each lady been given the marketing dollars pumped into Brand Beyonce to secure her seat Pop’s high table, while poor management and after-thought approach to the likes of Kelly & Michelle saw them look on and applaud her from the sidelines.
