Now, despite sales of her last album ‘Ciara‘ yet to impress on a commercial front, its lead single ‘Body Party’ stands as the gift that just keeps on giving this year, now on course to becoming one of the highest played R&B jams in the last decade.

After being awarded with a Gold plaque by the ‘RIAA’ for sales of over 500,000 units, Ciara’s ‘Party’ is on course to reach the 40 million ‘VEVO’ streams mark within the next few weeks, as it official video on the platform sits at the 39,455,517 views point.
Elsewhere, as Ciara joins fiancee Future to celebrate the arrival of their son Future, Mariah Carey’s latest LP ‘Me.I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse’ now gears up to occupy the #3 on the ‘Billboard 200′ in its opening week, set to be outsold by Coldplay’s ‘Ghost Stories’ and Brantley Gilbert‘s ‘Just as I am.’
On iTunes, the LP is now being outperformed by Iggy Azalea‘s debut offering ‘The New Classic’, which sits one spot above it at #10, and four spots below Lana Del Rey‘s sophomore set ‘Ultraviolence’, due out on June 16th.
