Official Charts: “Rihanna Most Streamed Female Artist Of All Time”

Next month, the UK’s ‘Official Charts‘ will welcome the introduction of streaming points to its chart system, following in the digital footsteps of the US’ ‘Billboard Hot 1o0.’

Today, the company has announced that Pop singer Rihanna stands as the ‘Most Streamed’ female artist in all of UK chart history, beating efforts made by Beyonce, Lady GaGa, Katy Perry and ‘Columbia’s Rita Ora.

TheOfficial Charts Company’ explains:

The most streamed act of all is Arctic Monkeys, with 103.3m streams to their name – making them the only act to exceed 100m streams in the UK to date. The second most-streamed act is Eminem on 94.1m streams, with Rihanna is in third place with 87.8m streams.
