Sam Smith‘s new album may be titled ‘In The Lonely Hour’, yet the Soul-filled crooner won’t be at a loss for fans following his haunting rendition of Whitney Houston‘s ‘How Will I Know’.
Smith’s re-working of the iconic cut took place during a live session at SiriusXM radio over the weekend and always has the industry buzzing.
Famed for its high-octane dance-floor attributes, the Houston hit is deconstructed and re-pieced as spine-tingling ballad.
Take a listen below…
Bravo, bravo.
It’s so warming to see acts that are actually deserving getting the light shone on them with such high intensity. Smith is an incredible talent and one worth celebrating.
Hopefully his success opens the doors for fellow Soul acts – regardless of their hue – to also garner the recognition they too deserve. Take from that what you will.
I’m such a flop I should just retired guys please buy my new album I’m so desperate for sales….I even had to used a pictured of 1997 because I’m so fat.

Samantha, do you have a crush on this nobody or something?? No one cares..
Hopefully his success opens the doors for fellow Soul acts?
The fuckery in this sentence is just unreal. How the hell can this English muffin open doors for so called “soul acts” when soul music artists already exist and have been around in the industry for decades? They may not be mainstream anymore but they still exist. This English clown, just like Adele ain’t bringing forth nothing but watered down and whiny pop music. Sam, dear, that Rita Whora d*** riding of yours is messing up your head real bad.
#Unbelievable
D.O.p.E!!!
I personally feel that’s how’s you do cover! By going completely as far as left field with it so that no one can compare it (that’s just my opinion) but I really liked his cover so heart felt. I haven’t felt so moved by a song since Christina’s Beautiful and Jennifer Holiday’s And I’m Telling You ( http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RCDDx2JFnaQ ) granted her was a different type of power and passion lol
Diva in the making. Work it lad!
