Though we’d say it’s his close ties to sex tape empress Kim Kardashian that’s done a number on his credibility, Kanye West has cited his race as the reason he feels the world of fashion is unwilling to embrace him or his ideas.
Unfortunately, thanks to a 20-minute long rant “performed” during his ‘Wireless Festival’ set last night, ‘Nike’, ‘Louis Vuitton’ and ‘Gucci‘ aren’t the only ones unimpressed by the rapper’s antics.

The Yeezus rapper caused confusion when he paused his performance at the London music event, held at Finsbury Park, to preach to the crowd about discrimination within the fashion industry.
One festival-goer told MailOnline: ‘He was laying into the ‘machine’ and ranting about the public’s perception of him. Hundreds of people left the park early because they were so bored of his long rant.
‘There was serious booing towards the end of the speech, as people got so fed up and just wanted to hear him perform.’
Some fans also took to Twitter to express their annoyance at the fact that the superstar rapper halted his performance to get on his soapbox.
One wrote: ‘Serious booing during Kanye’s obligatory 15 minute Runaway rant at Wireless. Just get the f**k on with it mate. (sic)’
Another added: ‘There is a time and a place to get on your soap box @kanyewest and #wireless is not the place.’
On course to headline the event for a second night today after ‘UMG‘s Drake pulled out of the show, West’s rant comes after ‘Vogue’ magazine faced fire from its own readers, after placing West and then fiancee Kardashian on the cover of its ‘April 2014’ issue.
Fortunately for the pair, their digital protests did nothing to stand in the way of the 250,000 fans who reportedly purchased the issue within weeks of its release,coming close but failing to outperform editions covered by Pop superstar Beyonce and US First Lady Michelle Obama.
