Fierce quintet Fifth Harmony continued their ascension on ‘The Today Show’ this week, where they rocked the house with their latest single ‘Bo$$’.
The blazing cut, which – in paying homage to the likes of Michelle Obama and Oprah – serves as a modern spin on the much treaded on “girl power” narrative, has ignited iTunes following its release last week.
Hoping to give the hard-hitter an added push, the X Factor US birthed belles delivered quite the live performance.
Check it out below…
Slay.
Shocking camera work aside, the performance packed a potent punch. With a sea of groups struggling to make a mark, it’s clear Fifth Harmony are keen to pull apart from the pack and are succeeding in the process.
Each lady served up sass aplenty, nailed the choreography, and rode that backing track like seasoned pro’s (smartly punching in live where it mattered). And while the latter may irk some people, presentation is key – especially for an up and coming group – and they delivered and then some from a “package” standpoint.
All in all, an exciting showing and one that should help boost ‘Bo$$’ even higher on iTunes. It currently sits at #28.
Randomness: Is it us or is it clear the ladies have (smartly) been watching ‘The Beyonce Experience’ DVD? We say “smartly” because to be the “best” it’s imperative to study the “best”. It’s also no coincidence that each of the members have cited King B as a primary influence. It really shows; which in itself is impressive.
