Now, six years later, the singer seems to be hinting at the direction she may take next with her forthcoming ‘Cheek to Cheek‘ effort and her recent tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, performing her Gershwin-penned ‘I’ve Got a Crush on You.’

With the general public seemingly ‘over’ with the GaGa they met in ’08, one wonders if a complete change in direction would the best way forward for the star, reclaiming their support with a look and sound inspired by Stefani Germanotta.
If packaged as a Madonna-style reinvention, we can’t see why GaGa couldn’t find herself leading Pop’s pack once again with an era that came armed with a new look, a “new” sound and a promotional campaign that positioned her as a gold coin in a box filled with talentless silvers.
