Indeed, should any of her fans been longing for news on her brand new studio album, this morning would have seen their prayers answered when the stage slaying chanteuse shared snaps of herself recording the project with none other than Dr. Luke.

Ciara: It is too late. We live in a different type of music industry. You need image, social media presence and AIRPLAY. You also need stunts, gimmick and PR thirsty attention seeking antics. Honestly, I needed some good news after reading and listening to Sam’s review of the monster tour. WHEW! Anyways, glad Ciara is back, I think people really miss her uptempo- bass driven- crunk sound and not too much of the ballads. Can’t wait to hear some music from her, Oh and also SLAY the stage as per ususal.

There were so many single worthy tracks on her last album. “Super Turnt Up” would’ve been a hit & “Overdose” was a waste of slayage. That song would’ve taken her to the top if they released it as a single, especially for the Summer. It was probably the BEST song on the album & that album held a LOT of good tracks on it. I mean, ya’ll saying nobody buys music anymore, but yet Trey Songz sell over 100k? I applaud Ciara for not giving up though & I root for her every time. I’m looking forward to this new C-Era (y’all liked that huh? Lol).
“Overdose” is literally a flaw-free track! Brilliant pop song. I still cannot believe she didn’t release it. Like, 🙁
