Honesty.
It’s a rare trait in an industry dominated by press releases and PR spin. Yet, it’s a trait Rita Ora embodied during her visit to On Air With Ryan Seacrest today to promote new single ‘I Will Never Let You Down’.
For, when quizzed squarely on rumors that ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris denied her the ability to perform the song (which he produced) at last week’s Teen Choice Awards, the singer not only confirmed the story as true – she went into great detail about how he was able to.
Watch Ora dish all below…
Kudos to Rita for holding her head high. It does make one wonder what this means moving forward for performances in support of the track’s parent album. Because on home soil, it was a #1 hit and is very much tied to the LP’s broader campaign.
We guess this one is yet another entry into the “why not mix business and pleasure” file.
Anyway…look out for Rita when she takes to the stage at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards with Iggy Azalea to perform their hit ‘Black Widow’ on August 24th.
