Motherhood may have kept Fergie out of the spotlight for a minute, but the Black Eyed Peas front-woman isn’t being idle on the music front.
As previously reported, the ‘London Bridge’ singer is hard at work on her second solo album, which’ll serve as the follow-up to her wildly successful debut ‘The Duchess’.
Released back in 2006 (where is time going?), the set birthed five top five singles in the US – all of which have sold over 2 millions copies each in the US.
Needless to say, any such follow-up has it’s work cut out for it.
Stopping by E!’s ‘Chelsea Lately’, the songstress opened up about the process of piecing the project together.
Peep the interview below…
Exciting!
It’ll be very interesting to see how Fergie fits into the contemporary marketplace. Same with Gwen Stefani, who too is working on another solo record. For, as many will recall, both ladies dominated and then some during the 05/06/07 window.
