As one chapter closes for music’s most powerful Mr and Mrs, another appears to be nigh.
For, fresh from wrapping their much hyped ‘On The Run Tour’, new reports are are relaying that Beyonce and Jay Z are readying a a collaborative album.

Listen to the report below…
Hmm.
There are literally a number of ways of looking at this.
On the one hand, the couple run risk of collective overexposure – regardless of how good the music of any such album would be – due to the intense media scrutiny they’ve been subject to all year. For some, this might be overkill.
Add to that the fact that it’s not as if there is ample public demand. Indeed, it’s arguable that more folk than not are ready and wanting a return to the status quo which saw both be forces in their own right and celebrated as a unit for that very reason.
That said…
Should the existence of the said project prove true, there are number of creative ways we’d be eager to see them explore.
Like, instead of a typical 0r expected ‘Best Of Both Worlds’ type LP, why not serve up 5 solo Bey tracks, 5 solo Jay tracks, and 5 collaborative efforts. For us, such a setup would relay the notion of both being solo titans, while just as great together. What’s more, it’d really diversify Bey’s discography – which by and large – is comprised of traditional album releases. Almost like delivering an EP and LP in one package.
Anyway, enough of our rambling. After all, as recent time has shown, The Carters are all about #NewRules – hence it’s perhaps best to expect the unexpected, if indeed there is an album to expect. Stay tuned.
