Stirring an already boiling pot of anticipation for his sixth studio album ‘X,’ Grammy winning singer/songwriter Chris Brown has given fans a taste of what his new project is serving via hit singles ‘Loyal,’ ‘Fine China,’ and the Usher-assisted ‘New Flame.’
Now, with his first post-prison interview, the R&B bad boy took to Billboard magazine to encourages #TeamBreezy to look for more than club bangers and sexually charged numbers from his forthcoming LP.
“I think for this album I just want the fans to see the growth, coming of age, becoming a man, but also still being able to move with the culture, ya know influence the culture,” he said. “With this album I want to just project that and have them see what I can bring to the table as an artist and entertainer.”
In addition to touching on topics of personal and artistic maturity, the now highly publicized sit down also saw him weigh in on love, loss, and, of course, Rihanna. Accompanied by a kaleidoscope of the ‘Look At Me Now’ hitmaker’s statement fashion pieces and visual art, tuck in below to see a behind the scenes look at the interview and its adjoining photo shoot:
He really looks like he’s getting it together ! I love Chris, always rooting for him.
Cool. I love him. He sounds so positive & happy. This was a great photo-shoot & interview.
Chris’ music has become mature now??? He must not be talking about songs like Loyal and Love More. He must be talking about another album. Not X.
How many units will Teyana sell on her debut album in the first week? I’m guessing 1400 copies.
When will Frank Ocean come out (no pun intended) with a new album.
Love this guy, cant wait for X
Luv his new outlook and he seems to be in a good place. Can’t wait for the release of “X”.
He looks dead and lifeless in these pics…. Poor soul.

They need to stop torturing him
At least he seems to be trying, the question is will he get back some of these fans,he had to support this new album. His last few albums have not done as well in sales as his first 2 albums. I sure he must want another #1 album,I think its going to be a battle for it because looking at that list for that week on HDD, they are 3 other albums on the list which could compete with Chris Brown sales numbers of the last album, especially if the fans don’t return.
