New artist alert!
After launching the career of R&B’s Trey Songz, the Grammy award winner that is Troy Taylor now sets his sights on success with the genre’s latest arrival…Richard King.
Stepping into territory currently being dominated by Chris Brown, Usher and the aforementioned Songz, King’s introduction comes with a little help from R&B group Hi-Five, whom he covers as part of ‘Royal RnB Classic Remake Monday.’
In the mood for something original? Then hit the play button on his debut single ‘Plus One‘, now available to pick up on iTunes.
Has Mr.Taylor done it again?
You tell us below!
I like it, sounds pretty good. It sounds very Usher, King Usher’s impact though.

The guy is pretty cute too, bonus I guess.
Where’s his face.. I guess I’ll have to google it cos it’s covered up in the pictures above
Took a while to find him on google….. His face put me off the music.
LMAO I don’t know what to say
It actually sounds very james fauntleroy tbh..” that fauntleroy impact tho” is what you should be saying.
Personally it sounds generic! It’s a good song, I really like it but it doesn’t tell us anything about him as a person or artist. It just tells us he likes 3 domes like the rest of the commercial rnb/hip hop crew. Shouldn’t your debut be timeless.. Don’t see him singing this 50 years into his career… And how was this something original SAM???
I’ve just listened to I Like… Now we’re talking
It’s an okay song. I prolly need to hear it a few times to be convinced. He is sooooo hard to find on Google. There are so many Richard King’s this is a disadvantage for him
