Three years after her UK debut album ‘ORA’ touched down in the market, Rita Ora wil launch her hotly anticipated US debut, set for takeoff in 2015.
This year, she speaks openly about a number of events set to inspire its lyrics with ‘Cosmopolitan‘, hitting the mag to dish on her relationship with Calvin Harris, her Iggy Azalea-led hit single ‘Black Widow‘ and her admiration for Katy Perry.
Oh…and why she feels sex is a “form of getting to know someone.”
An honest Ora below…
On Calvin Harris:
It was the right guy at the wrong time.I was about to start a tour, and he was also all over the place. There’s only so much you can do when you don’t see each other.
On Azalea’s ‘Black Widow‘:
As soon as I heard it, I was like, ‘This is the f–king song.” Katy Perry cowrote it — it felt nice to have all women involved.
On sex:
I’m very proud to say that I think about sex. It’s what everybody thinks about, whether they say it or not. For me, sex is a form of getting to know a person—feeling someone’s skin.
