Watch: Usher Performs US National Anthem At Lebron James’ ‘Cavaliers’ Homecoming

Ever prepared vocally, Usher stepped into the spotlight last night to perform a song often synonymous with vocal scrutiny – the US National Anthem.

The star, who is gearing up to hit the road on his new tour ‘The UR Experience’, rocked the house with his take on ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ at the Cavaliers game. Widely watched, the event was hailed for being the homecoming for basketball star Lebron James.

While not boasting the vocal fireworks of renditions of some of music’s most celebrated divas, Usher’s take on the track was simple, structured, and ultimately well-delivered. Good stuff.
