Say what we will about Rihanna, but there’s no denying that her brand is booming.
Easily the “face” of the 360 era, the star has amassed a multitude of endorsement deals including lucrative partnerships with MAC, Gucci, Armani and River Island.
Per a new report, sports giant Puma is set to be the model’s newest pairing and looks poised to help her pocket a seven-figure sum.
Details below…
In a deal that mirrors that of rival Beyonce‘s new partnership with Topshop (sans the ownership part), Rih is said to be gearing up to design new “lifestyle” line with the sportswear brand which will feature clothing and sneakers.
The NY Daily News reports:
We’re told the sportswear giant is already building a team to work on the “lifestyle” line.
“She is going to have her own coordinator to go to at Puma who only handles her, and they’ll have a junior coordinator helping them,” said our insider. “The focus is shoes, but she will also be helping with pants and tops.”
We’re told the contract is worth just over $1 million and will prevent the Adidas-obsessed star from wearing rivals’ brands. “She will have to slowly start to incorporate Puma into her wardrobe,” said the source. “She will be wearing all Puma gear in shoots and out and about.”
While RiRi hasn’t made it official yet, we hear she’s on board.
“The offer isn’t signed yet, but she is in 100% and wants to do this,” the source added.
Originality has never been Fenty’s focus, as such there’s nothing else to say other than…get money!
