Leona Lewis is/was clearly better than this girl. Her Xmas album from last year for example. If we want to talk about Mariah Carey copies… she´s not even the best one we´ve seen.
If I had to be honest, Ariana kind sounds like Amel Larrieux too from Groove Theory in the 90s who sang ” Tell Me”
I hope it achieves longevity like it’s iconic predecessor.
What the hell happen to Leona Lewis??? Anyways, Ari sounds great! She needs to just gon’ head & released a full mixtape X-Mas album. That would be cool

Ok, let’s be completely objective.
1) Everything this girl does or wants to do has already been done by Mariah Carey. It’s so undeniable to the point where this girl has eliminated “Mariah Carey” from her vocabulary in an attempt to not seem like a Mariah Carey wanna be.
2) This song is very, very good and very, very catchy. No matter what haters say. I personally will be listening to it probably all Christmas long.
3) No matter what her fans say, critics and vocal professionals know /full/ well that Ariana is, in fact, pretty limited vocally as far as vocal power, range, and agility goes – you can tell because she struggles with enunciation most of the time in the studio or on stage and /projecting/ her voice.
4) Thee Mariah Carey comparisons are, once again, nothing new – the internet has been drawing them since 1999 when Christina Aguilera first came out. I’m actually extremely surprised no one has made Christina Aguilera comparisons yet though.
PS: Anyone remember the year 2008? when Leona Lewis first came out? Leona sounded and still sounds nothing like Mariah (especially in Mariah’s prime from 1990-1994) and, like Ms. Ariana Grande, lacked finesse, vocal power, creativity, and originality.

I swear I want to love this girl but 90% of what she does is a reflection of Mariah Carey. For that I can only like her, because the song is cute, but this is formula MC2.0
Even her look last night at the AMA’s on stage I thought I was watching the Butterfly era w/ dance moves.
I found it boring and couldn’t even complete the song. Kelly Clarkson’s “Wrapped In Red” was a better modern version of “All I Want For Xmas Is You” TBH. I will pass

^^ The definition of pressed!! Yes, she is inspired by Mariah, and who cares. It’s so obvious that it’s not even worth mentioning. Great song, but she’s stretching a bit too far out of her range. It sounds uncomfortable at parts. Either way, I’m all here for Princess Ariana.
I won’t be a scrooge. The song IS cute, yet at the same time, fairly forgettable.
I spent the whole song waiting for her to project and own the runs at the end but it was just stale. So funny how she gets paid dust since her album debuted with 169k, still got a lot to prove. So cute but that’s it.
All these singles out and no smashes or memorable music. This b**** has a butterfly-lifted single out, a daydream-lifted single out, and a merry christmas-lifted single out and none of the success.
