Shade?: Actress Jackee Harry Urges Fans To “Save Mya From the Pole”

She may have risen to fame 30 years ago as ‘227’s sassy Sandra Clark, but 2015 is proving that actress Jackee Harry is still just as sassy with or without a script.  Case in point? The Emmy winner’s recent comments on ‘Fallen’ singer Mya.

Ruffling a few feathers this morning after she took to Twitter to urge fans to “save Mya from the pole,” Harry’s comments follow weeks of speculation that the R&B stage blazer has resorted to previewing new music at strip clubs.

As the video above made its rounds, the story reached a new height of traction last week after hit rapper former 106 & Park-host Bow Wow took to Facebook to say:

Despite earning a slight backlash from the singer’s supporters (and a slam here or there for fiancee Erica Mena), viewers across the net entered heated debates on the topic.

According to NecoleBitchie, Mya clapped back at critics, saying:

“I am whatever I choose to be when I choose to be it. The joy of life. Live it. Been doin’ strip clubs, LGBT clubs, dance clubs, straight clubs, concerts, festivals since 1998 to date. I love all my fans and it don’t stop. Instagram generation is late as hell.”
