Reports are flooding in that the family of Bobbi Kristina, the only child of late pop icon Whitney Houston, has been informed by doctors that the time to withdraw lifetime support is imminent.
Delegating the duty to her father Bobby Brown, sources are indicating to a number of outlets that the medical team treating his daughter (who remains in a medically induced coma after being transferred to Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital) is encouraging him to make the decision today…on his 46th birthday.
Full report below:
“..Brown has been hopeful his daughter can beat the odds because someone in his extended family battled out of a coma after 8 days.
Bobbi Kristina was moved to Emory University Hospital Tuesday because the facility has a world class neurological department, but it appears doctors have determined there’s no hope.
Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically-induced coma since Saturday, when she was found face down in her bathtub.”
News has it that the singer is reluctant to make the decision to end his daughter’s life before the weekend. The report surfaces just as we’ve learned Brown is expecting a child with his current wife Alicia Etheredge.
Update: Bobby Brown’s lawyer released this statement on Thursday: “If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that’s all we would be doing 24 hours a day. This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place.”
