Alicia Keys is back at it!
The 15-time Grammy winner has returned to the studio to commence work on her next studio album and is keen to let fans know. She shared the snap above on Instagram with the caption:

Keys, who gave birth to son Genesis Dean back in December, will be hoping the as yet untitled set performs better than her last effort, 2012’s ‘Girl On Fire,’ which has sold less than 700,000 copies Stateside in two and a half years.

You are absolutely right they are always wrong and need to do their research. Her album went gold and has sold close to sold more then 700,000 copies as of 2014. They never get the right info. Her album was also platinum worldwide and top the Japan billboard charts.
ALL her music since “no one” has sounded the same. A whole lot of screaming and thunder thighs!

How is selling over 700,000 copies from your album in the USA bad anymore? Haven´t you seen nowadays sales and flops? It´s actually great now. Especially for an artist who is not new at all.

Exactly and I feel like every since her debut she has evolved more and expanded her horizons which is a good thing.She has an album for each genre style R&B, Neo-Soul, Rock/Soul, Contemporary Soul/pop etc. I think thats a good thing some people don’t know what it takes to be an artist. They stay tunnel vision and keep that artists pigeon hole as that artist grows and blossoms. As a fan Alicia has never disappointed me cause I want her to continue to grow and thats whats she’s doing.
I’m very excited! =) Alicia has been in the game for a long time and she is one of the true artists that I love and enjoy to listen too. My issue with this article is that you stated that she has sold less then 700,000 copies and that is wrong very incorrect. Girl On Fire sold more then 700,000 copies in the U.S was Gold and went platinum worldwide. She also topped billboard in Japan as well. If you do your research you would know that. I notice when it comes to blogs like these people lack knowledge and don’t do their research at all. Alicia has accomplished alot throughout her career and each album she has created shows her growth as an artist.I’m sure Alicia has alot to sing and talk about since she has a new bundle of joy. Alicia is one of the few artists of her era that has created a versatile catalog of timeless music. She has touch pretty all genres from rock,pop, Latin jazz, hip hop, R&B, neo-soul and reggae. folk as well. I’m excited about this.
