New video alert!
J. Cole serves up an unexpected creative in the visual for new single ‘G.O.M.D.’
The track is housed on the rapper’s third studio album, ‘2014 Forest Hills Drive,’ which landed atop of the Billboard upon release last December.
Directed by Lawrence Lamont, the video revolves around a 1800 slave revolt led by Cole.

He can rap nicely, but the cussing is extra. (The women at the end were killing it.) Nice video:)
“And even after all my logic and my theory, I add a ‘m*********’ so you ignorant n***** hear me” – Lauryn Hill
Love it!

This is the best music video of 2015 so far. It had a story, along with development, and beautiful cinematography. This is a good look, and I wish nothing but the best for my fellow North Carolinian, J. Cole.
My sentiments exactly. Video with a purpose.
ZZZZZzzzzzzZZZZZZZzzzzzz
You sleeping on Ciara again?? You better wake up ‘I Bet’ is available to buy on iTunes…. Never mind. Sleep tight boo
I am really happy with the way Rap music is maturing. Not growing but maturing. Rap is moving beyond the superficial and the materialistic front (for the most part) and delving deeper into real issues. J. Cole is for sure a grammy contender with this album–not just Rap Album bt AOTY as well.
