While he may be currently celebrating two successful joint projects – ‘Fan of a Fan’ album with Tyga & ‘Between the Sheets’ tour with Trey Songz – reports are now running rampant that another “joint project” tops Grammy-winning ‘Run It’ singer Chris Brown’s list of joys – being a father.
But, just in case you were wondering, this secret project is one Karrueche Tran didn’t collaborate on:
“Chris Brown is the proud father of a 9-month-old baby girl…The baby’s mother is a 31-year-old former model named Nia — who we’re told has known Chris for several years.
Sources connected to both Nia and Chris tell us they are on very good terms — however they’re not together romantically. We’re told 25-year-old Chris is happy about being a father.
It does not appear there is a formal child support order in place — and we do not know the nature of any informal terms of support.”
No word yet from Brown if the report is true. If true, however, congratz are in order for the proud papa!

In other Chris Brown-related news, word about the hitmaker’s paternity follows a slam from former Disney darling Hilary Duff. The ‘Coming Clean’ songstress covers this month’s Cosmopolitan magazine and there referenced the on-again-off-again nature of his relationship with Tran (as she too is going through a divorce). Dishing on her former beau Aaron Carter proclaiming his undying love for her on Twitter:
“I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her. I don’t care what ANY of you think,” [Aaron Carter] tweeted to Hilary in March. “Don’t be that stupid douche that loses the love of your life forever … Like me.”
“Him reaching out through social media? It’s ridiculous!” she told Cosmo. “But then people do it all the time, like Chris Brown and Karrueche? Come on, guys. Keep it between text messages.” – Duff via Cosmo
Duff’s comments reference Brown’s unceremonious slamming of Tran on stage when he referred to her as a “b*tch.” See that here if you missed it!
