Michelle Williams continues to spread the gospel with her inspirational hit ‘Say Yes.’
Fresh from rocking the 2015 Stellar Awards with Beyonce and Kelly Rowland, the vocal powerhouse performed the song solo tonight for President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at ‘The Gospel Tradition’ music celebration at the White House.
Watch below as Williams wows the Obamas, and many of the notable names in attendance with her spirited showing.
‘Say Yes’ is lifted from Michelle’s current album ‘Journey To Freedom,’ which is in stores now.
Wonder if she has a pre-performance ritual of Virginia Slims and coke, as well.?
Michelle looked a lil crazy up there repeating the verses like 3 times, but it’s an achievement nonetheless.
When will Kelly Rowland?
When will Kelly Rowland do what? Each of them are doing their own thing…MOre than any other girl group individualy in music history..#dc3
She making major moves and moving mountains with valleys and mountains of hate……
Great performance.
She had that crowd jamming with her. #jobwelldone
It’s an accomplishment that not too many can brag on (performing for the President & First Lady), so I applaud her.
Not her best. But good to c her on this platform
SLAYchelle!
And people say “Poor Michelle” why??….
Congratulations Michelle! And what will the lowlives (low-key Michelle Stans) over at PoorMichelle have to say about this one? She’s making bank regardless of people’s negativity.
Kelly need to come up with a game plan, despite I wish this song was her own song and not a house hold known song all over Africa for years . Still great job because as she has been more current compare to Kelly .
Each of the girls have their own lane…Michelle is doing her thing! Kelly is a new mom..let her enjoy the moment…Everytime one of the DC girls do something people always try to bring down someone else…Kelly has done major things in the past two years…Let Michelle enjoy the moment and let Kelly enjoy her child
Ok Michelle, but how come you are so skinny after all these years?
Nice performance
Yes mam!!! Loved it
