‘Got To Be Real’ singer Cheryl Lynn kept it all the way real on Twitter late last night when she popped off on fellow Grammy winning R&B legend Anita Baker.
The songstress wasn’t completely clear on what ignited her tweeting fury, but whatever it was, it landed her on Miss Baker’s “blocked list” real quick.

Everybody in the industry knows Anita Baker has a TERRIBLE attitude. She is an extremely jealous woman which is why she has refused to work with Toni Braxton all this time. She’s still upset about Toni taking “Love Shoulda Brought You Home” from her and scoring a HUGE hit. Anita was the Keyshia Cole of the 80’s.
All true, except that last part. Anita had a bit more of a successful career than Keyshia Cole. She even hosted the American Music Awards a few times.
Not career-wise. Attitude-wise. Anita is far more respected for her artistry.
You may want to revisit your facts boo. Toni credits anita for GIVING her that song. Toni didn’t take it. Anita passed on it due to her own hectic schedule at the time.
Baby face gave it to toni…who was fashioned as a hipper version of anita at the time. To this day toni still says anita is her favorite singer and mentor – anita even suggested she NOT retire when she was considering (I have receipts if u need them)

They originally wanted Anita for the song but she was pregnant and taking time off so she told them they should just let the girl singing it on the demo sing it which was Toni. So yes that is so not true.
