Brit Pop collective JLS may have waved goodbye to fans in 2013, but for select members the music journey continues.
Unsurprisingly, lead singer Aston Merrygold is pressing on solo and, after signing with Warner Bros last year, is finally ready to introduce the masses to his singular sound.
This week, the singer revealed ‘Get Stupid’ as his first single.
To whet appetites, the gifted performer also unwrapped the track’s official artwork (above) and a look at its accompanying video – the latter of which awaits below…
The Motown route has been well-treaded in recent years, as such it’ll be interesting it see how Mr. Merrygold fares.
I’m done from the cover art alone! He was annoying in JLS – the British equivalent to Jason Derulo. And that’s NOT a compliment!
I’ll give it a listen and let you know what the critic thinks
Annoying…
Who?
Lead singer from a rubbish UK boyband who were on the X-Factor
LMAO!! Tragic.
Interesting. There has been many articles on this site about how black artist aren’t recognized when they do their own music, and yet white artist are praised. And now Aston releases a song almost musically identical to Sykes. As in I could see them both being done by Bruno Mars Thatgrapejuice praises Sykes and calls Aston out for going motown. Not a fan of either artist, just a fan of the site.
James Brown!
Never heard of him before
