The diva’s latest greatest hits collection, ‘#1 To Infinity,’ rocketed its way into the top 10 of the Official UK Album Chart this evening.
Led by new song ‘Infinity,’ the set debuted at #8 on the tally.
Beyond serving as an impressive position for any R&B-flavoured release these days, it marks a major improvement from the #15 peak of Mimi’s last album ‘Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse’ which sold just 6,547 first week in England last year.
What’s more, the charting sees the set become Mariah’s highest debuting offering on UK shores since 2008’s ‘E=MC2.’
