In 2005 the rapper Jay-Z introduced the singers Rihanna & Teairra Mari as part of his plans to replicate Mathew Knowles’ success with his then girlfriend Beyonce.
Since then Rihanna has risen to become one of the last decade’s more prolific artists, recently seeing her global record sales cross the 150 million mark.
Unfortunately, such success evaded Ms. Mari who has seen her career reduced to a pile of Urban tabloid flavoured mess with help from an embarrassing run on VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.’
Now, her career has reportedly taken another turn for the worst.
Literally.
Find out how below…
TMZ reports that the ‘Phone Booth’ singer attacked an Uber Taxi service driver when he refused to let her use his phone charger while on a journey hours ago.
The publication shares this report:
The drive started ok, but went to hell when Teairra asked the driver if she could use his charger for her iPhone. He said no, and she got p****d. The driver claims she began punching him and grabbed the charger. He pulled over, she refused get out and the cops were called.
Alas, things worsened for the performer.
For, when the police arrived at the scene they found said charger in her bag which is why she has been accused of stealing it and placed under citizen’s arrest by the driver.
It wouldn’t be the first time Ms. Mari has found herself in hot legal water.
So, what is a citizen’s arrest?
