Watch: Leona Lewis Strikes With ‘Thunder’ Acoustic At B96 [Performance]

Published: Thursday 16th Jul 2015 by Sam

Soaring songbird Leona Lewis hit all the right notes when stopping by Chicago’s B96 radio this week.

The X Factor champion is presently stateside kicking off promotion for new single ‘Thunder’ and its parent album, ‘I Am’ – due September 11th via Island/Def Jam.

Giving the windy city a taste of the more soulful sound she’s moulded alongside hitmaker Toby Gad, Lewis took vocal flight with a rousing acoustic showing of ‘Thunder.’

A slightly more restrained vocal than we’re used to hearing from Ms. Lewis, but still packing more of a punch than the vast majority of her contemporaries. Solid showing.
