Last week the lyricist Nicki Minaj nabbed her first look at the very first Madame Tussauds wax figure built in her honour.
Unfortunately, not everyone is happy about it.
For, despite being the first wax figure released to celebrate a female rapper, the figure sees the star bent on all fours with her derriere in the air.
Now, her Hip Hop sister Azealia Banks has weighed in on the allegedly racially motivated move on Twitter.
What she had to say about it?
Find out below…
She reached out to Minaj with:
Wow, they finally give Nicki Minaj a wax figure and it’s a statue of her bent over on all fours. As much as that woman has accomplished, they had to put her on all fours. Why not standing up with a microphone in her hand? I would complain and ask for a do-over. That’s such underhanded shade. All people are gonna do is go up to that statue and take pictures shoving their crotch in her face and putting their crotch on her butt. That’s not nice, I don’t feel good about that, but if you like it I love it.
