The producer used the photo sharing platform ‘Instagram’ to reveal that he was planning to release new music from the late star as he continues to push and promote his new rap artist Tink.
His announcement will come as welcome news to the late singer’s fans who recently launched a petition seeking to encourage MAC cosmetics to launch a makeup line inspired by the performer’s signature style.
…It’s just amazing how missed this young lady is. I think a big part of it is just her overall vibe. You look at how some of these new R&B artist come out and they don’t compare. Aaliyah was so ahead of her time, Musically, Visually and Personally. Even her Interviews were mature. Her style is Iconic much like her makeup and visuals. I’m here for this…

This is h** Aaliyah music, style and artistry was ahead of it’s time. Miss You was recorded in 98, so was Rock The Boat. I Care 4 U was recorded in 96, right after Onr in a million, but it didn’t make the album deadline. Look at Rihanna and Ciara and a ton of other today artsit style and you’ll find a pic of Aaliyah rocking it in over a decade ago. There’s video mixes with her and the new girls and Aaliyah videos fits right in or looks even newer. Now, compare her style, sound, videos to her actually peers to the ladies today. Theirs are dated, it looks 15+ years old. I’m just saying, there’s a reason why Aaliyah is always compared to Beyoncé, Rihanna and Ciara, artist that came out years after her death. The girl was just a head of the game. Her and her team that is.
