Ariana Grande fans haven’t been as feverish about new ‘Focus’ as perhaps hoped.
Released last week, the track was always set for a David vs Goliath showdown with Adele’s unstoppable hit ‘Hello.’
However, it currently sits at #5 on iTunes – behind two Justin Bieber songs as well as Drake’s still blazing ‘Hotline Bling.’
Though obviously early days, the track’s arguable under-performance (see: lead single from a new album) has many of the “Arianators” ready for what else the singer’s ‘Moonlight’ LP has in store.
Responding to a curious fan, Grande revealed that supporters may have to wait some time to hear more…

One has to wonder; how much of that is rhetoric and the album is still on course to drop when it was supposed to. Or how much of that is going back to the drawing board after not smashing with a song that was hyped for a whole month before it premiered?
Her music is way too mediocre. I bought My something and that bull5h!t only lasted a month until I was ready for something else.

This is very true. She can sing tho. But, the material is gonna be her downfall, like with alot of great vocalist.
Focus is not catchy, it’s not like Break Free and her other hit songs. I get she wants to push herself and that, but she went the wrong direction with Flopus. Yes, I believe she needs more time with this album. I hope she just doesn’t take 20 years to release her album like… ✋????????

LOL Adele is the only real titan nowadays. It´s nobodys fault all these other basic girls are generic and pretty much singles artists. This time not even the single is on its way to be a semi-hit for Ariana, like a couple of her previous ones, so they just have to let Adele slay for some more time lol (if I remember correctly, the only achievement someone like Ariana could get would be one of these quick #1 singles, but she still hasn´t got yet, righ? 🙂 ).
